When we showed up there was a problem with our room and so they had us check into a room next door and worked to make sure we were fine. They still did breakfast like we were to get.

It is ok, could be better

The staff was nice, the bed comfy, the breakfast good. Good value. The rooftop "Al fresco" how they call it, was the only decent thing in the whole city.

*We booked the tour to the underground river through them and it was the worst tour I had since I travel in Asia. The place was beautiful but the tour guides were very "smart" by forcing us to pay for extra activities "you pay for this or you wait two hours" I told them off, but the didn't seem to care. The Hotel should let you know how was going to be before booking it. Even the bus to El Nido booked through them was a living nightmare. *They are doing some work renovation in the Hotel, so the balcony was not accessible. *The payment process was hard and complicated, Laundry service very expensive (I went to another place) and despite they are overly kind they don't fully understand what you ask them

I stayed only 2 of my 4 night here. This is not the hotel I intended to stay

The staff were very welcoming and friendly

The hotel need updating. There was a lingering stale smell through the hotel in fairness to this hotel I booked it by accident I though I was booking the El Nido hotel. I’m new to the Philippine and I got confused with the locations. I wanted a luxury beach vacation.

It was good and comfortable. I rested after a long travel from El Nido

I like the breakfast buffet a lot and the location is very nice. Close to SM Puerto Princessa and other places if you want to go party or roam around the city. The public market is just in front of the hotel as well if you are on a tight budget and would want to save money for food.

Spacious room.

Spacious room. Sun terrace. Shuttle service from the airport. Courteous staff.

Mosquitoes in the room and in the corridors of the hotel. There is no shower on the sun terrace. Room cleaning 6 of 10.

Very friendly hotel. Good food choices and roof top deck with views over the water.

The friendliness of the hotel is amazing. The staff in the restaurant was great.Nurse Billy Rae was extremely sincere and knowledgeable with his nursing skills to assist my partner when she was not well. Airport transfer, buffet breakfast and SM Mall 300 metres away. Great scenery from the roof top deck with serves alcohol.....3 night stay was enjoyable.

That the website had no information that some of the facilities were very freindlunable to be used due to renovations.

Good Value

Most people likely book these rooms because of the of what you get for how much you pay. The rooms are generic but have been well maintained. Clean and functional. So good value for money. Offers breakfast as well and is quite close to the airport in which they offer shuttle service. Staff was also very kind. They managed to slip me in to a last minute tour on the same day of booking!

I was expecting to see a Sign outside the hotel that said Zen Rooms like the photographs had but upon arrival there was no such thing. I almost thought I was dropped off at the incorrect hotel. The hotel is indeed named Sunlight hotel. I was just a bit confused upon arrival because the hotel location is very randomly placed. With no "Zen Rooms" sign to confirm your arrival. The wifi situation was irritating at times because it only works in the main area of the 4th floor and barely if not at all in your actual room.
